Congratulations,
you hold a cheap and powerful measuring data processor.
The docs/ directory holds a DataProc.doc file. It is written as to the
specifications of the GNUPLOT doc file. So you may use the GNUPLOT tools
to compile it to your favourite standard. I supplied the TeX and the
more readable help file for you. A printout of the TeX .dvi file may
also be odered from my site.
You may include DataProc to any PD-Series as long as prices keep comparable
to e.g. Fred Fish's AmigaLibDisks. You must always supply DataProc itself,
this Read.Me file, docs/DataProc.doc and SCalc.
If the package should be damaged or there is something else wrong with it,

DataProc cannot, well it can but it makes no sense, be run from Workbench.
It follows the same philosophy as GNU-Plot and many other UNIX(tm) style
tools. So copy the executeable to any location you like and launch it from
your shell. The docs may be put else-where or no-where, they are currently
not needed by DataProc. Note that you CANNOT run DataProc from remote
paths, IF it is NOT REGISTERED!
To register read the docs for license agreement and send your registration
request to the above address. This program is SHAREWARE, neither Public
Domain, nor Freeware, nor Copyleft or whatever. You have to PAY for it, if
you decide to use it!
This package includes SCalc. This is DataProc's math module with an as simple
as possible interface. The instruction lines submit to the DataProc manual.
It may be used to get a feeling for the math processor as well as to really
calculate expressions of medium complexity. You may define variables and
functions and all built in constants are available using SCalc.
A port of DataProc and GNU-Plot in the MGR-modification does already exist
on MS-DOS(tm) machines and the MS-DOS (tm) port of DataProc itself got
released just this week.
Have fun with the program and good luck with your experiments!
Aloha,
Lars.
